鲜莓布丁

 

周末,整出了一款不需要烤炉的甜点— 鲜莓布丁。

    

按Rachel的说法,除了好吃以外,这款甜品还很有特色。。。,你一定想不到吧,居然是用面包做的!

第一眼在Rachel的Blog看到鲜莓布丁时,整个就被它的色彩、造型深深地迷上了。得,才刚从外地赶回,顾不上眼前堆积下来的活,一头钻进厨房忙乎开了。

 

 

除了基本参照Rachel的做法,又来些自创—-加琼脂为了好定形;没有Raspberry,以石榴籽来替代:还加了些鲜莓在里面。

看Recipe ,似乎有点复杂,其实按上图示意去做,还是挺简单的。

 

虽觉得布丁的外表没有达到那种迷人光滑“皮肤”的水准(可能压的不够紧),但整个操作过程就像在做一件艺术品似的(特意将这张照片加工成版画效果),蛮投入滴,呵呵 ~~~

 

吃时淋上蜂蜜,那个好吃哇!

 
Ingredients ( Yield 6) :  
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 1/2  cups fresh blackberries
  • 1 cups hulled and sliced fresh strawberries
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1g agar(optional)
  • 1 loaf slices white sandwich bread

 

Directions:
  1. Combine berries, water, sugar,agar and bring to simmer, stirring occasionally. Strain berry mixture, reserving juices.
  2. Line 6 bowls with plastic wrap, so it hangs over the sides. cut out 12 rounds and 18~20 rectangles from bread slices.
  3. Dip 1 round slice into fruit juices and place in bottom of bowl. Dip 2~3 bread rectangles, one at a time, into juices and place around sides of  bowl as necessary to fit. Spoon about ½ cup berries into bowl. Dip 1 more bread round into juices, place on top of the berries and wrap with the plastic wrap hanging over the sides of the bowl.
    Repeat assembling the puddings with remaining bread rounds and rectangles , juices and berries…
  4. Refrigerate overnight.
  5. To serve, unwrap puddings. Turn out onto plates and remove plastic wrap. Drizzle honey over the top if desired.

 

剩余的边角面包,可以做Crouton,比买来的要新鲜的多。  

Cut bread into small cubes and drizzle spicy olive oil ( or just olive oil ) over the top, toast until barely golden.

    原来秀色可餐是这么来滴。哪舍得吃啊,看看就可以饱了。
     
    现在每天的早餐就是学你的什锦果汁,今天晚上做木瓜西米露,结果搅了一个小时西米都没透明,郁闷哦。后来上网查看了一下,希望下次会有进步,呵呵

    瞧瞧人家Rachel做的,多滋润的“皮肤”哟 ~~~
    我想是加了琼脂将面包的空隙、纹路也定了型的原因吧。但是,好处是,在布丁上面加了大草莓,依然那么“挺胸”。

    最近也不知道怎么回事,这里的空间就是不好上,我上次为了发个蛋卷几乎用了四十分钟.去洗了个澡回来,它居然还没打开.都搞不清怎么了.
     
    不过,周末能来看看姐姐的美食真是开心.居然还有不用烤的.好嘛,下次我学做一下,

    其实就是黑莓的高度,两边是puff pastry呀。
    PS:俺那个鲜莓布丁的面包浸了一下果汁,容易融合在一起,所以做好后,没有缝隙吧。
